Build It Live South East takes place every February, at Kent Event Centre in Maidstone. A one-stop shop for all things self build, renovation and home improvement, the show is designed to provide anyone with a property project with the inspiration, advice and information they need to make it a success.

Well, our veteran experts will be on hand all weekend at Build It Live South East, answering your questions during free, one-to-one appointment sessions. Whether you want advice about your planning application, want to quiz an architect about design options or speak to an eco guru, we have an expert to help you.
Whether you're looking for a heat pump, want to find an architect, source roof tiles or find the perfect kitchen, we have an exhibitor for you. Throughout the exhibition hall, you'll be able to meet with hundreds of local and national suppliers, browse their products and services and quiz them about their offerings, before making any decisions. You'll be able to see, touch and test thousands of traditional and innovative products, too!
Our series of free seminars are developed each year by Build It’s editorial team, and our panel of experts, to ensure all common questions are covered – and to give visitors the knowledge to take control of their projects. Our workshops are hosted by our exhibitors and cover everything from glazing options to funding your self build. Plus, at the end of each session you'll get the chance to ask a question during the live Q&A!
As well as the opportunity to try out products and materials in person, Build It Live will bring you free clinics, each designed to help you make a success of your project. Each one is led by an expert in their field, so you can quiz them and find the answers to your burning questions. Drop by any time to have a chat! Build It Live South East will take place at Kent Event Centre in Maidstone on 22 and 23 February 2025, with the doors open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
The venue is part of Kent County Showground. For Satellite Navigation purposes, please use postcode ME14 3JF. There’s unlimited free parking available next to the exhibition hall. There will be spaces allocated close to the venue for disabled visitors, too.
The venue is ideally suited for arrival by car as it’s located just off the A249 dual carriageway.
From the M20 Motorway, exit the motorway at junction 7 and follow signs to Sittingbourne, Sheerness A249. Follow the A249 for approximately 2 miles, the Kent Event Centre and Kent Showground are clearly signposted on the left-hand side after the brow of the hill.
From the M2 Motorway, exit the motorway at junction 5 signposted (M20) Maidstone A249. Follow the A249 for approximately 5 miles. Please be aware that cars are unable to cross over the carriage way to the Showground on the right-hand side of the road. Visitors will need to carry on along the A249 to the roundabout at the bottom of Detling hill, then follow the M20 directions above.
