Build It Live offers a range of free workshops and seminars, each presented by leading suppliers, specialists and experts from the self build sector. Each session focuses on specific problems and choices that self builders and renovators face every day, from how to finance your build, to extending your home on a budget.

Make sure you visit the Land Zone, brought to you by PlotBrowser – the online portal dedicated to real building plots. Here, you’ll be able to discover the various routes to finding the right plot for your build. At the Land Zone you’ll be able to explore an online database of available plots and obtain information about the latest serviced plot projects across the UK.

SUSTAINABLE BUILDING PRODUCTS PAVILION

Whether building from scratch or renovating an old house, if you want a truly sustainable, healthy home, then every aspect of your project needs to be considered in detail – from low-energy design strategies through to the products and finishes that go into both the structural fabric and the internal fit-out. Build It Live features numerous dedicated clinics, including the Build Cost Clinic, the Heating Advice Clinic, the Basement Advice Clinic and the Extensions Clinic. SELF BUILD TRAINING TASTER SESSIONS

At Build It Live you can pop along to various taster sessions of our Self Build Virtual Training courses. This interactive series will give you the detailed know-how to successfully realise your dream home. Covering topics including where to start your self build journey to choosing the right structural system, these short, 20-minute taster sessions are presented by Build It’s expert contributors and Potton’s highly experienced self build team.
