The three Build It Live shows welcome over 16,000 visitors annually, the majority with active projects. In 2016 67% of them were ready to go or underway with their projects, 42% were prepared to spend between £125,000 and £5000,000 and 61% had committed to travelling over 45 minutes to attend, proving the quality of our audience and the attraction of our shows.
The varied locations of our three annual shows means accessing affluent self build pockets across the UK is easier than ever. This February our Kent and Manchester shows tapped into the lucrative South East region, as well as Cheshire and the whole of the North West.

In 2016 Build It Live delivered over 16,000 visitors across the three shows, most with active projects, and ready to invest in products and services for their self build projects. The show replicates Build It magazine in 3D, ensuring visitors interact face-to-face with our magazine editors, exhibitors and industry experts and leave with all the inspiration and expert advice they need to progress their projects.
Meet high-spending customers at the only dedicated show for the lucrative Western Home Counties. The Home Counties to the west of London are amongst the wealthiest and most desirable in the UK with high levels of self building and renovating. This is why Build It Live Bicester is situated here, on the borders of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, just north of the Thames Valley.
Since it’s successful launch in 2016, Build It Live Bicester is set to soar in attracting self builders and renovators from the wealthy Western Home Counties. The 50,000 sq ft show takes place at Bicester Heritage Events Centre, just 5 minutes’ drive from the M40 and from the renowned Bicester Village retail complex. Plus, for self-builders looking for a plot, there is the unique Graven Hill Zone. Graven Hill with its 1,300 self build plots is just 5 minutes from the show and visitors will be able to select and reserve plots at the show… making it totally unique amongst UK self build shows.
5,945 visitors attended the 5th Build It Live South East in February 2017. This is now established as the premier self build event tapping into the lucrative South East regions – a hotspot for self builds.
This year’s South East show took place at the purpose-built, award winning Kent Event Centre, just North of Maidstone between the M25, M2 and M20 motorways and within easy reach for the whole of the South East.
5,781 visitors attended the 3rd Build It Live North West, which took place at EventCity in Manchester in February. The show brought visitors from Cheshire and the whole of the North West region.
